📦How Our Shipping Works
Because every Filmswear jacket is Made-to-Order — built from scratch after you purchase — your total delivery timeline has two distinct phases: production time (your artisan builds it) and transit time (our courier delivers it). Both phases are clearly communicated, so you always know exactly where your order is.
We ship from our production workshop in Lahore, Pakistan via premium international courier partners. Your dispatch email includes your tracking number the moment your jacket leaves our workshop.
- Day 0: Order confirmed — production slot immediately reserved
- Days 1–2: Leather selected and artisan assigned to your jacket
- Days 2–12: Artisan handcrafts your jacket — cutting, stitching, hardware, finishing
- Days 12–13: Full quality inspection by a senior team member
- Days 13–14: Packed and dispatched — tracking number emailed to you immediately
- Days 14–22: International courier delivers to your door (5–8 business days transit)
- Full end-to-end tracking from dispatch through to doorstep delivery
- Shipment insurance for the complete declared order value — no extra charge, no opt-in

Filmswear offers completely free, fully tracked international shipping to our four primary markets. No minimum order. No hidden fees at checkout. Free shipping is applied automatically — nothing to enter, nothing to qualify for.
All transit estimates are business days — Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Pakistan, your country, and any transit hubs. A 7-business-day window is approximately 10–12 calendar days. Orders placed around major holidays (Eid, Christmas, Easter) may experience 1–3 additional business days in transit.

The courier assigned to your order is selected based on your destination for the most reliable current routing.

📍Tracking Your Order
Every Filmswear shipment is trackable from the moment it leaves our workshop to the moment it is signed for at your door. You receive your tracking number automatically on dispatch day — no need to contact us to ask where your order is.
If your tracking shows no updates for 10 or more business days after dispatch, or shows "Delivered" but you have not received your jacket, contact us immediately at support@filmswear.com. Every order is insured and we will investigate and resolve at no cost to you.

Here is the full step-by-step journey of your order — from checkout to delivery. Every stage is tracked, every stage is supported, and every stage is communicated to you by email.
Order Placed & Confirmed
Your payment is processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. An order confirmation email arrives in your inbox within minutes — containing your order reference, jacket details, and your estimated dispatch window. Your production slot is immediately reserved.
Leather Selected & Artisan Assigned
Our production team selects a fresh leather hide matching your jacket's specification and assigns your order to the artisan best suited to your chosen design. Custom measurements are applied to the cutting pattern at this stage if submitted.
Handcrafting in Progress
Your artisan cuts, stitches, shapes, installs hardware, and finishes your jacket over 10–12 business days — approximately 20–30 hours of skilled handcraft spread across working days. This window cannot be shortened; it represents the actual time required to produce to the required standard.
Full Quality Inspection
A senior inspector — independent of the artisan who built your jacket — reviews it against original screen references and our full quality checklist. Screen accuracy, seam integrity, hardware function, leather surface, and size accuracy are all checked. Any jacket that does not pass is corrected before dispatch.
Packed & Dispatched — Tracking Sent
Your jacket is wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, boxed in Filmswear branded packaging, and handed to your courier. Your dispatch email is sent immediately with your tracking number and estimated delivery window for your destination country.
International Courier Delivery
Your jacket travels via our courier partner to your door — typically 5–8 business days for USA, UK, Canada, and EU destinations. Monitor every step via your tracking link. Delivery requires a signature or photographic proof at most international destinations.
🛃Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Filmswear ships from Pakistan as the country of manufacture. Depending on your destination and its import regulations, your order may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes levied by your government upon arrival. These charges are entirely outside our control and are not included in your Filmswear order total.

- Import duties and taxes are not included in your Filmswear order total — they are levied separately by your government's customs authority upon your parcel's arrival
- Your courier may contact you to pay any duties before releasing your parcel for final-mile delivery
- Refusing to pay import duties and returning the parcel does not entitle you to a full refund — return shipping costs and any customs fees will be deducted from your refund amount
- Filmswear cannot undervalue or misrepresent the contents of any shipment — all parcels are declared fully and accurately at the correct value
To estimate duty on a leather jacket imported from Pakistan, search your national customs authority website using HS Code 6210.10 (leather outer garments). Most governments provide an online duty calculator. We recommend checking before ordering if you are in a high-duty destination such as Australia, Switzerland, or Norway.
🛡️Lost, Delayed or Damaged Shipments
Every Filmswear shipment is insured for its full declared order value. In the unlikely event that your jacket is lost in transit, significantly delayed, or arrives visibly damaged, we take full responsibility and will resolve it — at zero additional cost to you.

📌Important Delivery Notes
Please read the following before placing your order. These situations affect a minority of orders but are important to understand clearly before purchasing.
- Check your delivery address carefully at checkout — once dispatched, your order cannot be redirected to a different address
- If an incorrect address causes a failed delivery and return-to-sender, re-shipping costs are the customer's responsibility
- Apartment numbers, building names, and postcode/zip codes must be complete — partial addresses frequently cause customs entry failures at the destination
- To correct an address error, email us within 1 hour of placing your order — we can update it before production begins
- During November and December, global courier networks operate at significantly reduced capacity — add 3–7 extra business days to all transit estimates
- Our own production queue also extends in peak season — total order-to-delivery time may reach 17–25 business days rather than the standard 15–20
- If you need your jacket by a specific holiday date, email us before ordering to confirm current lead times
- If you have a specific required delivery date — a birthday, film premiere, event, or holiday — email support@filmswear.com before placing your order
- We will give you an honest assessment of whether your timeline is achievable at current production volumes
- We do not accept orders we cannot fulfil by a customer deadline — transparency about feasibility is part of our service commitment
