Orders, Production & Made-to-Order Model
Filmswear operates exclusively on an Inventory-Free, Made-to-Order (On-Demand Manufacturing) model. We hold no mass-produced stock. Every jacket is handcrafted individually by our artisans the moment your order is confirmed.
Mass production compromises quality. Our model guarantees every customer receives a freshly crafted, never pre-worn jacket built specifically for their order — using fresh leather, precise hand-stitching, and individual quality inspection. The 12–15 days you wait is the guarantee that what arrives is fresh, unique, and built only for you.
Order Confirmation & Material Selection — 1–2 Business Days
Your order is reviewed, fresh leather is hand-selected, and your production slot is assigned to a specific artisan.
Master Tailoring & Hand-Stitching — 10–12 Business Days
Your jacket is individually crafted stitch by stitch. This phase cannot be shortened without compromising quality.
Quality Control & Global Dispatch — 1–2 Business Days
Every jacket undergoes a thorough quality inspection before packing. Your tracking number is emailed at this stage.
International Delivery to Your Door — 5–8 Business Days
Fully tracked international delivery via our trusted global courier partners. Free worldwide shipping on all orders.

- Placing an order is full acceptance of this Made-to-Order model and its timescales
- Orders cannot be rushed or prioritised above other customers' active orders

Filmswear offers three distinct quality tiers of genuine leather. All three use real, genuine leather — never synthetic, PU, or faux leather unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Due to monitor calibration differences and natural grain variation in genuine leather, the exact colour and texture may differ slightly from product images. This is a characteristic of real leather — not a defect.
Pricing, Payment & Currency
All prices on Filmswear.com are displayed in US Dollars (USD) by default. For UK and EU customers, prices may also be shown in GBP or EUR where applicable.

- Full Payment at Checkout: 100% payment is collected at order confirmation. No instalments or deposit-based ordering is available.

Shipping, Delivery & Risk
Filmswear ships worldwide with full tracking on every order. Shipping is free to the USA, UK, Canada, and the European Union.
- Tracking Number: Emailed to you once your jacket is dispatched. You are responsible for monitoring delivery and being available to receive the parcel.
- Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon handover to the courier. Transit damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- Delivery Address: You are fully responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Filmswear is not liable for losses caused by an incorrect address at checkout.
- Failed Delivery: If a parcel is returned due to failed delivery or an incorrect address, re-shipping charges may apply.
- Customs & Import Duties: International customers may face duties, VAT, or customs fees levied by their government. These are the customer's sole responsibility.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights you hold under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, EU Consumer Rights Directive, or equivalent legislation in your country. Your legal rights are always fully intact.
